National Task Force Survey – Government Polytechnic Doyang, Wokha.

On the 23rd of July 2024, an Orientation Program was organized by Government Polytechnic Doyang, Wokha for the 3rd batch of Architecture Assistantship Students. The event commenced with an introductory session led by Er. V. Julia Achumi, the Principal, who welcomed the new students and provided an overview of the Examination System. Additionally, the students received information on the Architecture Program, Institute facilities, Tobacco-free Campus, and Hostel Rules and Regulations from the lecturers.
Miss I Tainjungla Ozukum served as the Chairperson for the Orientation program, ensuring a smooth flow of the event.

On August 6, 2024, Government Polytechnic Doyang in Wokha hosted the inaugural freshers’ day for the third Batch of Architecture Assistantship students. The event featured both formal and informal segments. During the formal proceedings, Ar. Visanino Kenna-o led a prayer for the newcomers, followed by an exhortation from the principal, Er. V. Julia Achumi, concluding the program with light refreshments.

“Government Polytechnic Doyang Wokha Fusion Winter Fest 2024” was conducted on February 15th & 16th. The students along with teaching faculty were divided into two equal groups i.e., Falcon & Mahseers (Annexure-I.). Day 1 commenced with several events such as photography and flag design judged by the principal and other colourful competitions such as face painting, fashion design and Quiz competition with different themes as seen in Annexure-II. On Day 2 -16/2/2024 indoor & outdoor sport events were organized as seen in Annexure-III. Student advisors Er. Imlong Chaba & Ar. Katila Jamir were the overall in charge for these two-day events.

The Principal, staff, and students of Government Polytechnic Doyang, Wokha visited Khelhoshe Polytechnic, Atoizu, to attend the Technical and Cultural Fest “AMBIORA 3.0 – Bridging Bytes and Beats” held on the 29th and 30th of September 2025. On August 7, 2024, a seminar and painting event focused on water conservation was held at the conference hall as part of the Jal Doot campaign under the Jal Shakti Abhiyan initiative.
