Exposure Visit: PM SHRI GMS Wokha Town-A to Government Polytechnic Doyang

PM SHRI Government Middle School, Wokha Town-A organized an educational exposure trip to Government Polytechnic Doyang on 27th February 2026. The visit aimed to provide students with practical insights into technical education, skill-based learning, and career opportunities in the polytechnic domain.
Upon arrival, the students were warmly welcomed by the faculty and staff of the institute. An introductory session was conducted where students were briefed about the institute, its vision, and the various diploma courses offered. This session helped students understand the scope and importance of technical education in today’s world.
The students were then taken on a guided tour of the campus, where they explored different laboratories and facilities available at the polytechnic. They visited well-equipped workshops, computer laboratories, the library, and smart classrooms, gaining firsthand exposure to modern learning environments and tools.
A key highlight of the visit was the display of building design models prepared by the polytechnic students. These models showcased innovative architectural concepts and practical applications of engineering principles. The polytechnic students also explained the designs in detail, making the session interactive and informative.
The visit provided an enriching experience for the students, enhancing their awareness about vocational and technical education pathways. It also inspired them to explore future career opportunities in engineering and related fields.
